Diamond Certification & Provenance

Diamond Certification & Provenance

At DivinityChest, every gemstone is selected with the understanding that it will become part of a personal milestone, story, or legacy.

For this reason, each piece offered by the House is independently certified and documented according to internationally recognized grading standards.

Certification ensures transparency, authenticity, and clarity regarding the piece you receive.

Standards are never assumed — they are verified.

I. Independent Certification

Every certified stone offered by DivinityChest is graded and documented by internationally recognized gemological laboratories, including:

• GIA (Gemological Institute of America)
• IGI (International Gemological Institute)
• GRA / GRC (where applicable)

These institutions provide objective evaluation of a gemstone’s measurable characteristics — independent of the seller.

Each certified piece is accompanied by official documentation, serving as its verified record of quality and authenticity.

II. Understanding the 4Cs

Diamond quality is defined by four internationally recognized characteristics:

Cut
Determines how effectively a diamond reflects light, influencing brilliance and fire.

Color
Measures the absence of color, with higher grades appearing more transparent.

Clarity
Evaluates internal inclusions and surface characteristics within the stone.

Carat Weight
Refers to the physical weight of the diamond, contributing to its size and rarity.

These standards allow each stone to be evaluated with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

III. Gemstone Categories

Fine jewelry begins with origin.

Each gemstone category serves a distinct purpose — yet all must meet the DivinityChest Standard of precision, certification, and structural integrity.

Natural (Earth-Mined) Diamonds (Coming Soon)

Formed over billions of years beneath the Earth’s surface, natural diamonds are valued for geological rarity and enduring market recognition.

Typically certified by GIA.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds created through advanced technological processes replicating natural formation conditions.

They possess identical chemical and optical properties to natural diamonds.

Commonly certified by IGI and GIA.

Moissanite

Moissanite is a distinct gemstone, known for:

• High refractive index
• Enhanced brilliance and dispersion
• Strong durability

Typically accompanied by GRA grading documentation.

Colored Gemstones

Colored gemstones are evaluated based on:

• Color saturation
• Tone balance
• Clarity
• Cut precision

Graded by recognized authorities such as GRC (e.g., sapphire, emerald, ruby).

IV. Quality Spectrum

While certification defines measurable characteristics, overall quality exists across a spectrum.

Higher-grade stones typically exhibit:

• Superior cut precision
• Balanced color and tone
• Minimal inclusions
• Strong brilliance and structural integrity

Each selection is evaluated not only by certification, but through internal inspection protocols to ensure alignment with the DivinityChest Standard.

V. Documentation Included

Each certified stone includes:

• Official grading certification (IGI, GRA, or applicable authority)
• Diamond or gemstone grading report
• Unique certification number corresponding to the stone
• Secure documentation for long-term record keeping

This documentation provides a permanent reference for your piece.

VI. Choosing With Clarity

Each gemstone category reflects a different intention:

Natural Diamond — geological rarity
Lab Diamond — technological precision
Moissanite — brilliance-forward alternative
Colored Gemstones — expressive individuality

Understanding these distinctions allows for informed, intentional selection.

Closing Statement

At DivinityChest, certification is not a feature — it is a foundation.

Each piece is defined by measurable standards, verified documentation, and controlled evaluation.

Verification is never assumed. It is confirmed.
